Public Notice

The City of Shallowater would like to give all interested parties the right to appear and be heard at the regular council meeting on Tuesday, the 21st of February, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Police Department Training Room, 607 Ave G, Shallowater, Texas on the issue of a variance request for Ben and Alana Hayes for parking at Fred’s Garage at 609 Avenue H. They have proposed twelve (12) regular parking spaces and one (1) handicapped space.  The owner also requests to place asphalt in the city easement or from their property line to 6th Street.  The owner accepts the risk that the asphalt may be destroyed by the city to complete infrastructure repairs and understands that the repairs or replacement of the asphalt will be at their expense. 

 The variance, if approved, would allow for the twelve (12) regular parking spaces and one (1) handicapped parking space at 609 Avenue H for Fred’s Garage.   Any questions or concerns may be directed to City Hall, at 806-696-4300.
