Variance Request for a Guest Room Addition and Patio at 1315 9th Street…

The City of Shallowater would like to give all interested parties the right to appear and be heard at the council meeting on Tuesday, the 17th of January, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Police Department Training Room, 607 Ave G, Shallowater, Texas on the issue of a variance request from Mr. Boatright at 1315 9th 300 sq. ft. guest room and 160 sq. ft. patio. The room addition will be the same height as the existing house and the roof will be flush.  The variance is for the height and the combined size of the patio and room addition. 

This variance, if granted would allow the owner to add a guest room onto the back of the house connecting to a patio at 1315 9th Street.  The variance is for the size and height of the structure. The plans meet all other required setbacks.  Any questions or concerns may be directed to City Hall, 806-696-4300.
