Variance to place a carport at 703 11th st.: City of Shallowater Public Notice  The City of Shallowater would like to give all interested parties the right to appear and be heard at the council meeting on Tuesday, the 15th of April, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Police Department Training Room, 607 Ave G, Shallowater, Texas on the issue of a variance to place a 20 X 30 carport on the side of the house on the existing concrete pad at 703 11th street.    This variance, if granted would allow Mr. Keith the ability to place a 20 X 30 carport on the side of the house on the existing concrete pad.  Any questions or concerns may be directed to City Hall, 806-696-4300. Proposed Zoning Change to 801 10th Street

The City of Shallowater would like to give all interested parties the right to appear and be heard at the council meeting on Tuesday, the 19th of January 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Police Department Training Room, 607 Ave G, Shallowater, Texas on the issue of a special exception to allow 801 10th Street a nonconforming specific zoning use as a Multifamily Duplex.   The property is currently zoned as R-1 Single Family Residential.  This special exception if granted will allow 801 10th Street to be used and rented as a duplex when all of the utilities are installed and inspected and meet the City of Shallowater’s requirements set by ordinance.  This property has been rented as a duplex and there are currently two separate living units that are currently occupied.  The property is for sale and the prospective owner plans to continue to operate and rent the property as a duplex.   Any questions or concerns may be directed to City Hall, 806-832-4521.
